it is really nice to know ones family tree and roots.... with the ricaforts family re-union today, held at sagrada familia, legaspi city......this is the basic information, i got from the event...,there was a month publication throughout bicol, tho, i saw it in our hometown, oas, albay....there was a suspense, on who to see during the one day family re-union of the ricaforts....of bicol....it was organized by colonel Wilfredo Ricafort, from libon whose roots are from OAS,,,during my studies in Manila, there was a party in one of my classmates, who is from a military family, both mother and father side.... Ysmael ver Reyes,,, and introduced me to his cousin, a Ver who graduated from the Philippine Military Academy,....,that he has a classmate a Ricafort from Sorsogon,,,and i thought they originated from Sorsogon,,,,and again validated that there are really Ricaforts from Sorsogon,, bicol region,, who are from DONSOL, area,, which was narrated by Mr. Espinoza, i got a chance to talk, at the airport on his way to a vacation.....,,to donsol,,, that the ricaforts of donsol,, originated from Mexico,,, and they are involved with the military and donsol politics...but col. ricafort is from libon, as i know when we talked briefly before the Mass, durin the re-union and introduced me to hi brother Antonio Ricafort,, and another Alfredo Ricafort from Goa , camarines sur, who originally came from CAtanduanes...and i was,,,,recognized by the daughter of Judge Seva, who is the duaghter of tiya FE Ricafort Seva, who is now 89 years of age... and was looking for my mother Lydia Ricafort ,,, who are both ricaforts from bicol... in my travels... found out too...that there are ricaforts with the religious,,,ricaforts with military, ricaforts in politics and ricaforts in education.....the main purpose of the re-union is to have fellowship, bonding, re-connection.....and to know our roots.... its really nice to attend thanksgiving fellowship of the ricaforts.....till next time..
